Eisha Singh Wins Gold with World Record Performance

The Telangana Sports Department has congratulated Indian shooter Eisha Singh for winning a gold medal with a world record performance at the ISSF World Cup Munich 2026. She secured the gold in the women’s 25m pistol event by delivering an outstanding performance against top international competitors.

In the final, Eisha Singh scored 43 points, surpassing the previous world record of 42 points and setting a new benchmark. Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari, Sports Advisor A.P. Jithender Reddy, senior officials, and the Sports Authority leadership praised her achievement. They noted that her success, achieved among athletes from over 85 countries, is a matter of pride for both Telangana and India, and an inspiration for young sportspersons.
