The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a significant schedule change for the upcoming five-match T20 International series between India and England. The board has decided to advance the match start times by one hour, making the games more convenient for viewers in the Indian subcontinent. According to reports, the move is aimed at maximizing television viewership and improving audience engagement during prime viewing hours.
Under the original schedule, the matches were set to begin at 11:00 PM IST. However, following discussions with broadcasters, including Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Sony Sports Network in India, the start time has been revised to 10:00 PM IST. The decision is expected to benefit both cricket fans and broadcasters, as India-England contests consistently attract massive television and digital audiences across the globe.
