

Pratika Rawal, who played a key role in India’s victory in the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup, has received a major honor from the Delhi government. Even though she missed the semi-final due to an injury, Pratika impressed everyone with her brilliant centuries in the league stage and contributed hugely to India becoming world champions. Recognizing her exceptional performance, the Delhi government has awarded her a ₹1.5 crore cash reward.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta praised her, saying, “Pratika Rawal is an inspiration for Delhi’s youth and a true symbol of women’s power in New India. Her journey gives life to Delhi’s dreams and has helped them soar high.” Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood and DDCA President Rohan Jaitley were also present during the felicitation ceremony.
