Cricket Greats Seek Medical Care for Imran Khan

A group of 21 former international cricket captains, including Indian legends Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Dilip Vengsarkar, have appealed to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to ensure that jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan receives the full medical care ordered by the court. The appeal was also backed by former cricket captains such as Allan Border and Adam Gilchrist.

The former captains urged the Pakistan government to ensure that Imran Khan has access to the required medical treatment while in custody. Their appeal comes amid concerns over the former Pakistan captain and prime minister’s health and the implementation of court-directed medical care.
