CM Revanth Reddy Congratulates Chikita Thaniparthy and Sahil Jadhav

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated archers Chikita Thaniparthy and Sahil Jadhav for their outstanding performance at the 2026 Asian Games being held in Japan. The duo won the gold medal in the mixed compound archery event. The achievement also earned Chikita qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, according to the statement.

The Chief Minister praised Chikita for bringing glory to Telangana by winning two gold medals in a single day. He particularly appreciated the efforts of her parents and coaches from Peddapalli, who recognised her talent and supported her sporting journey. Revanth Reddy said Chikita’s gold in the women’s compound team event, followed by her mixed-team victory alongside Sahil Jadhav against South Korea, would be remembered in Telangana’s sporting history. He added that her dedication, consistent training and determination would inspire aspiring athletes across the state.
