Buzz at Global Summit.. Sporting Legends Share One Platform!

The Telangana Rising Global Summit continued in Hyderabad with prominent sports icons gracing the second-day sessions. As part of the discussions, a special panel on ‘Olympic Gold Quest’ was conducted, featuring Minister Azharuddin along with celebrated athletes Anil Kumble, Pullela Gopichand, PV Sindhu, Ambati Rayudu and Jwala Gutta. The session highlighted India’s growing ambitions in competitive sports and the roadmap to achieve higher success at global events.

Speaking during the discussion, Olympic medalist PV Sindhu said that several factors play a vital role in an athlete’s journey to success. She emphasized the importance of world-class infrastructure and experienced coaches in shaping champions. Sindhu also stated that athletes require consistent encouragement and support at every stage of their careers to excel at the international level.
