Broke a 19-Year Record in His Debut Match

Young bowler Prafull Hinge from Sunrisers Hyderabad delivered a sensational performance and created a rare record. In his debut match, he picked up three wickets in his very first over. During the match against Rajasthan Royals, Hinge dismissed key batters early and turned the game in Hyderabad’s favor. He became the first bowler in IPL’s 19-year history to take three wickets in the opening over. Earlier, there had been instances of bowlers taking two wickets in the first over, but never three.

In the match held at Uppal Stadium, Hyderabad posted a strong total of 216 runs. Later, their bowlers dominated and bowled out Rajasthan for 159 runs. With this victory, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured their second win in IPL 2026.
