Brett Lee Praises Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Former Australia fast-bowling great Brett Lee has heaped praise on young Indian batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Lee described Vaibhav as an exceptional talent and said he was not concerned about the ongoing discussion surrounding the teenager’s age. According to Lee, talent and performance matter more, and Vaibhav is a “great find” for India with the potential to achieve much more in the future.

Lee also recalled Vaibhav’s fearless batting against Australian fast bowlers in the IPL. He praised the youngster for playing proper cricket shots and generating tremendous power, including confidently playing hook shots against deliveries that had troubled several senior batters. However, Lee urged everyone to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on Vaibhav and allow the young cricketer to develop naturally while enjoying his game.
