The board has officially responded to Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir's comments that the decision on his future is up to the BCCI. A top official revealed that the team is currently in a phase of change and there are no plans to change the coach at this time.
After the Indian team faced consecutive defeats in the recent two Test series, some former cricketers and fans have demanded that Gambhir be removed. However, the board has given clear signals that there is no need for changes in the coaching staff at this time.
Keeping in mind the new players in the team and the stage of changes underway, the officials have said that they will continue to have faith in the current coaching team. This has made it clear that there is no possibility of taking any action against Gambhir at this time.

I feel it might be better to replace head coach Gambhir. He keeps changing the batting order and isn’t selecting the top-performing domestic players.
