In the aftermath of the Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE, India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf have been penalized for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct, the International Cricket Council confirmed on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Suryakumar Yadav has been fined 30% of his match fee for showing dissent towards an umpiring decision during the high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan. The ICC stated that Yadav accepted the sanction without contest.
On the other hand, Haris Rauf was found guilty of two separate offenses and received two financial penalties of 30% each, resulting in a two-match ban. He will miss Pakistan’s upcoming ODI series against South Africa scheduled for November 4 and 6.
