The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a major boost for domestic women cricketers by significantly increasing their match fees. As per the newly approved pay structure, women players will now earn ₹50,000 per day for one-day and multi-day domestic matches, marking a substantial rise from the earlier ₹20,000 per day.
In T20 domestic matches, players included in the playing XI will receive ₹25,000 per match. This revision reflects a 2.5-times increase in match fees and underlines BCCI’s continued efforts toward promoting women’s cricket and ensuring better financial support and recognition for women athletes across the country.
