India were bowled out for 201 runs in their first innings of the second Test against South Africa. At one point, India were struggling at 122/7, but Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav steadied the innings with an impressive 72-run partnership.
Yashasvi Jaiswal top-scored with 58, while KL Rahul made 22, Sai Sudharsan 15, Rishabh Pant 7, Ravindra Jadeja 6, Nitish Reddy 10, Sundar 48, Kuldeep 19, and Jasprit Bumrah added 5 runs.
India now trail by 288 runs. Despite having the option to enforce the follow-on, South Africa decided to bat again.
Marco Jansen was the star with the ball, taking 5 wickets and dismantling the Indian batting lineup.
