Jacob Bethell played a match-winning unbeaten knock of 76 off 46 balls, smashing five fours and five sixes, and was named Player of the Match.
Earlier, India posted 190/7 after being asked to bat first. Ishan scored 49, Abhishek contributed a quick 43 off 24 balls, and captain Shreyas Iyer added 37 runs. Despite a competitive total, India's bowlers failed to defend it.
Ravi Bishnoi had a disappointing outing, conceding 60 runs in his four overs, while Arshdeep Singh picked up three wickets. The match also marked the international debut of 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, but India could not celebrate the occasion with a victory. The third T20I will be played on Tuesday.
