BCCI Introduces New Domestic Cricket Rules

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a set of important rule changes for domestic cricket competitions, with the new regulations coming into effect from the current season. Under the revised playing conditions, any bowler found to have deliberately bowled a no-ball will be suspended for the remainder of the match, replacing the earlier practice of restricting the punishment to the innings alone.

The BCCI has also modified the end-of-day playing conditions. If a wicket falls during the final over of the day, play will continue until that over is completed instead of ending immediately. In another significant change, head coaches will now be permitted to enter the field during drinks breaks in domestic one-day matches, aiming to improve communication and on-field strategy.
