India set Sri Lanka a target of 170 runs in the Asian Games semi-final. Batting first, Team India scored 169 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Ishan Kishan led the innings with an impressive unbeaten knock of 80 runs, keeping India on course for a competitive total.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi contributed 38 runs, while Shreyas Iyer scored 13. Apart from these three batters, none of the other Indian players managed to reach double figures. Ishan’s crucial unbeaten innings helped India post 169/7, leaving Sri Lanka with a target of 170 runs for a place in the final.
