Asian Games - Another Silver Medal for India in Shooting

India added two more medals to its tally at the 2026 Asian Games. Esha Singh won the silver medal in the women’s 25m pistol individual event after a thrilling final. Esha finished with 38 hits to tie with China’s Xiao Jiaruixuan before losing the gold-medal shoot-off and settling for silver.

In kurash, Pincky Balhara secured bronze in the women’s -78kg category. She lost her semifinal to South Korea’s Mo Sumin by a 0-5 margin, ending her hopes of reaching the final. Earlier, Pincky defeated South Korea’s Garam Lim 3-0 in the quarterfinals. The bronze marks her second Asian Games medal after winning silver in the -52kg category at the 2018 Jakarta Games.
