The Chamala Foundation’s Elite Cricket League (ECL) Season 2 has been receiving an enthusiastic response across Andhra Pradesh, aiming to encourage sports among youth. After the success of earlier matches at LB Stadium, the league is set for its next edition, scheduled on February 21 and 22, 2026, in Visakhapatnam with international standards. The Jersey Launch Event drew several prominent personalities, with the presence of Andhra Pradesh Sports Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy adding prominence to the occasion.
Addressing the event, the Minister praised the Chamala Foundation for integrating sports with social responsibility, highlighting initiatives such as drug-abuse awareness, support for families of farmers who died by suicide, and assistance to the families of martyred soldiers from the two Telugu states. He noted that dedicating prize money from previous editions to martyrs’ families reflects the league’s strong social commitment. With seven teams set to compete, ECL Season 2 is expected to energize Andhra Pradesh’s sports ecosystem while guiding youth towards a positive and disciplined path through sports.
