Is This the Real Plan Behind Bigg Boss Contestant Selection?

The makers of ‘Bigg Boss 10’ have taken a cautious approach while selecting the contestants. Like the previous three seasons, this edition also features a mix of celebrities and commoners. The organisers prepared a set of strong commoner contestants through the ‘Agni Pareeksha’ selection process, while also finalising the celebrity lineup. Rather than going for too many experimental choices, they have reportedly focused on celebrities who already have some recognition among television and entertainment audiences.

The final lineup consists of 16 contestants, including 10 celebrities and six commoners. With a familiar mix of faces and selected commoners, the makers appear to have opted for a balanced contestant lineup aimed at attracting a wider audience. The combination is expected to add variety to the house while keeping viewers familiar with at least some of the contestants from the beginning.
