Rama Nandana, who gained considerable popularity among Telugu social media audiences through her “Nandoos World” content, has reportedly come under police scrutiny in an alleged consultancy fraud case. Based in London, she became popular for videos featuring home tours, cooking, luxury shopping and family events, reportedly garnering more than 200 crore views across social media platforms. She also appeared in a small role in the Chiranjeevi-starrer Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, which was released earlier this year.
According to allegations reported in connection with the case, Rama Nandana and her husband allegedly used their social media popularity to attract job seekers by promising employment opportunities, attractive salaries and visas for the UK. They are accused of collecting substantial amounts from individuals, with allegations that some victims paid ₹15 lakh to ₹20 lakh and, in certain cases, more than ₹1 crore. After returning to India, Rama Nandana was reportedly taken into custody and is being questioned by the police. Separately, social media reports claim that she had come to India for a possible Bigg Boss opportunity. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the claim.
