The fifth week of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10, which began on September 7, concluded with a double elimination on Sunday, October 11. Apurva was the first contestant to leave the house, followed by Charan Mahadev. Charan had initially entered the show through the Agnipariksha process but was eliminated during the first week’s midweek eviction, alongside Chaitra Rai. He later received another opportunity to return to the house in the second week. However, according to reports, he struggled to make a significant impact after his re-entry, remained relatively quiet and failed to stand out in physical tasks. Despite host Nagarjuna repeatedly advising him to improve his gameplay, his performance reportedly did not change enough to keep him in the competition.
Following Charan’s second eviction, interest has also turned to his possible remuneration from the show. Media reports suggest that commoner contestants may receive between ₹70,000 and ₹1 lakh per week, although the actual payment terms have not been officially confirmed. Based on this reported range and an estimated four weeks in the house, Charan’s total earnings could have been approximately ₹2.8 lakh to ₹4 lakh. The frequently cited figure of around ₹3 lakh is therefore an estimate, not a confirmed payment amount. Neither the show’s makers nor Charan has publicly verified the exact remuneration.
