Bigg Boss Telugu 10 Opens Doors for Commoners

The makers of Bigg Boss Telugu 10 are once again giving common people an opportunity to enter the reality show. The previous seasons proved that contestants who entered as commoners, including Pallavi Prashanth and Kalyan Padala, could make a strong impact and even emerge as winners. With the format receiving a positive response, the makers have decided to continue the same approach for the upcoming season.

Applications were recently invited from aspiring contestants, receiving a strong response from Telugu audiences across India and abroad. Around 25,000 applications were reportedly received, out of which 70 people have been shortlisted for Agni Pariksha Season 2. Hosted by Sreemukhi, with Navdeep, Bindu Madhavi and Abhijeet as judges, the show will begin airing on August 15. The shortlisted participants will face tasks and interviews, with reports suggesting that 15 may reach the final round and six could eventually enter the Bigg Boss house. Several names are already circulating online, but the makers have not officially confirmed the list.

The makers are reportedly planning to conclude AgniPariksha 2 by the first week of September and launch Bigg Boss Telugu 10 on September 6. On the launch episode, Nagarjuna is expected to announce both the celebrity contestants and the commoners selected through Agni Pariksha. Viewers will have to wait until then for official confirmation.
