Bigg Boss Telugu 10 wild-card contestant Mithilesh Reddy surprised viewers by accepting a ₹15 lakh cash offer and walking out of the house just two days after his entry. His decision became a major talking point among viewers and on social media. In a recent interview, Mithilesh explained that he had already considered the possibility that winning the title as a wild-card entrant would be difficult. He said he believed contestants such as Thrigun, Mukesh and Rohith were strong contenders and felt that the top positions could be difficult to reach. Mithilesh said his parents were extremely happy with his decision and described the moment as a rare and memorable achievement. He also maintained that he has no regrets and that being identified as a Bigg Boss contestant would not restrict his future career opportunities.

Recalling his journey through the Agnipariksha task, Mithilesh said he played with a do-or-die attitude and wanted to prove himself. He explained that if the ₹15 lakh offer had not come, he would have continued fighting for a place in the Top 5. According to him, accepting the offer also helped him avoid a possible negative narrative that he wanted to leave the house. Mithilesh said the response after his exit was largely positive, while criticism over what some called “easy money” formed only a small part of the reaction. He also spoke about his disagreements with Aman, Thrigun and Mukesh, saying some of the exchanges felt personal rather than purely related to the game. Mithilesh added that the Bigg Boss team told him that his decision had created a memorable moment. He said he chose ₹15 lakh because it was a substantial amount compared with the overall prize money and, for him, represented a worthwhile opportunity.
