Bigg Boss New Seasons to Premiere Simultaneously in Five Languages

Bigg Boss is gearing up to entertain television audiences with new seasons across five languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. According to JioStar, the new seasons will premiere simultaneously on September 6, marking the first time in the franchise’s history that five language versions are being launched on the same day.

Several popular stars will return as hosts for the upcoming seasons. Mohanlal will host Bigg Boss Malayalam, Vijay Sethupathi will return for Tamil, Nagarjuna will host Telugu, Sudeep will lead the Kannada edition, while Salman Khan will host the Hindi version. Meanwhile, Bigg Boss Bengali Season 3 will premiere earlier, on August 31 at 9:30 PM, with Sourav Ganguly as the host.

JioStar also highlighted the strong performance of the franchise in regional markets. Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 recorded a 19.6 TVR for its grand finale and has accumulated 360 million viewing minutes so far. Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 also received a strong response, recording 1.5 billion viewing minutes on its opening day on October 5, 2025.
