The Bigg Boss Agni Pariksha selection process has become a talking point on social media, with several influencers participating in the competition for a chance to enter the tenth season of Bigg Boss Telugu. After multiple rounds of selection, around 15 contestants were reportedly shortlisted for the final stage. Among those eliminated was social media personality Uppal Balu, who has expressed his displeasure over the selection process and criticised Navdeep.
Meanwhile, anchor Srimukhi has come under criticism following an incident involving influencer Running Raja. Raja, who reportedly travelled from Kodumuru in Kurnool district hoping to secure a Bigg Boss opportunity, participated in a task during which he attempted to imitate Srimukhi’s mannerisms and makeup style. He then approached her, following which Srimukhi reportedly became upset and warned him against touching her. The incident triggered trolling and criticism on social media, with some users alleging that rural participants were being humiliated on such platforms. Others, however, maintained that the incident should be viewed in the context of the show and its tasks, while stressing that the talent of contestants from rural backgrounds should not be mocked.
