Siddhartha Reddy ( Nandu) is cheated in business by Mansoor and later betrayed by his girlfriend Trisha (Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas), who chooses to settle with the same man. Broken emotionally and mentally, Siddhartha turns into an alcoholic and isolates himself in a rundown apartment. His life takes a slight turn when he meets Shravya (Yaamini Bhaskar), a single mother dealing with her own struggles. Their interaction slowly pushes Siddhartha towards a new phase of life.
Technical Aspects:
While the cinematography and production design attempt to support the story within limited locations, the film consistently feels low-budget. Editing experiments with overlapping dialogues and visual inserts fail to enhance the narrative. Music stands out as the strongest technical aspect.
Psych Siddhartha starts with an interesting premise but quickly loses its grip due to messy execution and lack of emotional engagement. Despite honest efforts from Nandu, the film fails to rise above its predictable and chaotic storytelling.
Rating: 2/5
