Z-Plus Security for BJP’s New President

The Central Government has provided Z-Plus category security to Nitin Nabin, who was unanimously elected as the new National President of the BJP. Under this security cover, CRPF commandos will ensure his protection. As per the directives of the Union Home Ministry, CRPF personnel will provide round-the-clock security during his nationwide tours, public meetings, and at his residence.

At the age of 45, Nitin Nabin has created a record by becoming the youngest BJP leader to assume the post of national president. Former BJP president JP Nadda was also given Z-Plus category security. Among VIP security categories, Z-Plus is the highest level, followed by Z, Y-Plus, Y, and X categories. Currently, the CRPF provides security cover to around 200 VIPs, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and members of the Gandhi family.
