YSRCP Walks Out of Lok Sabha Over Amaravati Bill

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) staged a walkout from the Lok Sabha in protest against the Amaravati Amendment Bill. The party strongly opposed the manner in which the bill was introduced and debated in the House, expressing dissatisfaction with the process.

YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy clarified that the party is not against Amaravati as a capital, but against this particular version of the bill. He stated that their objection is based on the nature and approach of the legislation rather than the concept of Amaravati itself.
