On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, YSRCP MLCs launched a protest titled ‘Guru Parirakshana Deeksha’ over alleged irregularities in the Andhra Pradesh DSC recruitment process. The leaders demanded a CBI inquiry into the allegations and said the protest would continue until the evening. YSRCP MP YV Subba Reddy alleged that large scale irregularities took place in the AP DSC and claimed that even ineligible candidates secured teaching jobs.
Subba Reddy questioned the future of students if ineligible candidates were allowed to teach and said the truth would come out only through a CBI investigation. He demanded that Minister Nara Lokesh take responsibility and resign immediately. He clarified that YSRCP was not seeking the removal of candidates who legitimately secured jobs, but only those found to be ineligible. He said a complete verification process would expose the ineligible candidates.
