YSRCP Steps Up Preparations for Local Body Elections

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is scheduled to meet the party’s regional coordinators tomorrow to discuss preparations for the upcoming local body elections. The meeting is expected to focus on identifying suitable candidates for mayoral posts across municipal corporations and reviewing the party’s election strategy.

The party has already announced Anam Vijay Kumar Reddy as its candidate for the Nellore Municipal Corporation mayoral post. During tomorrow’s meeting, YS Jagan is expected to discuss the selection of candidates for the remaining mayoral positions. The discussions are part of the party’s ongoing efforts to prepare its organisation and finalise candidate choices ahead of the local elections.
