

Several YSRCP and CPI(M) leaders, along with educators, educational institution representatives, social activists and businesspersons from the Vijayawada Parliament constituency, joined the Jana Sena Party. Party General Secretary and Legislative Council Member Naga Babu welcomed the new entrants by presenting them with party scarves. Jana Sena said that around 300 people, including prominent figures from the Vijayawada East, West and Central constituencies as well as Gannavaram, joined the party. The induction programme was held under the leadership of party state secretary and Vijayawada Parliament constituency coordinator Ammisetti Vasu.
Speaking on the occasion, Naga Babu said that Jana Sena president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan treats party workers like members of his own family. He said that everyone who works hard for the party at the grassroots level will receive recognition and that deserving workers will be given due importance in the local body elections. As part of a self-employment initiative, Naga Babu also distributed 40 autos to Jana Sena workers, sewing machines to 25 women workers and pushcarts to 25 small vendors.
