Yogi Takes a Dig at Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a sharp dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav while speaking about employment and opportunities for young people. Yogi said India is developing a new startup ecosystem and that the government is focusing on skill development to help youngsters build their careers. He criticised some of the opposition leaders’ remarks on these issues as “ridiculous”.

Addressing Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav directly, Yogi remarked, “Rahul ji and Akhilesh Yadav ji, I don’t know whether you are educated or not”. His remarks have added another round of political sparring to the ongoing debate over jobs, unemployment and career opportunities for India’s youth.
