YCP Anger Over Blocking of Social Media Accounts

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has alleged that the NDA coalition government led by N. Chandrababu Naidu is blocking news channels, media platforms and opposition voices on social media out of fear of questions surrounding the DSC 2025 recruitment process. The party alleged irregularities in the recruitment, particularly appointments under the sports quota, and accused the government of targeting platforms that are questioning its functioning instead of responding to the allegations with facts.

The YSRCP described the blocking of media and digital platform accounts as an attack on press freedom and democratic principles. The party demanded that all affected social media accounts be restored immediately and called for an impartial inquiry into the alleged irregularities in DSC 2025 appointments. It said suppressing critical voices cannot erase questions or hide the truth behind the allegations.
