Working Together to Realize CM’s Vision – AP Minister Nara Lokesh

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh highlighted the importance of continuity in government for sustainable development, stating that citizens should remain alert and proactive. Speaking at the Public Policy Festival organized by the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune, he emphasized that the state government is committed to facilitating industrial growth and development. He noted that past leadership, like that of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, laid the foundation for Hyderabad’s IT success, and similar efforts are now being implemented in Andhra Pradesh to attract investments and generate employment.

Minister Lokesh also outlined the state’s innovative use of technology in governance. Through initiatives like WhatsApp Governance and generative AI platforms, Andhra Pradesh is providing over a thousand services across 36 departments more efficiently. Pilot projects such as skill census using AI and blockchain-based land records are being successfully implemented to improve transparency and service delivery. He emphasized that leadership, speed of execution, and a proactive administration are key reasons major companies like Google, ArcelorMittal, TCS, and Cognizant are investing heavily in Andhra Pradesh.
