As the Jubilee Hills by-election approaches, tensions rise between Congress and BRS leaders in Telangana. A viral video of a youth claiming to be Maganti Gopi’s son, alleging threats not to return from the US, has added fuel to the controversy. CM Revanth Reddy reacted strongly, referring to BJP MP Bandi Sanjay’s allegations against KTR regarding Gopi’s death. Revanth stated that politicizing a death without a formal complaint is wrong and emphasized proper procedures. He assured that if a complaint is lodged, the government would conduct a thorough investigation.
Bandi Sanjay’s claims that KTR was involved in Gopi’s death created a political uproar. He challenged Revanth Reddy to order an impartial inquiry and demanded rigorous interrogation of KTR. Sanjay also criticized KCR and KTR, accusing them of power-driven politics and internal rivalries within BRS. The controversy has intensified the political battle in Jubilee Hills. Both parties are closely watching TDP and local supporters as the election nears.
