The Bihar Assembly Elections have concluded after two phases of polling held on November 6 and 11, across all 243 constituencies. With voting now completed, exit poll reports from various national agencies have painted a clear picture — the NDA alliance, led by Nitish Kumar, is expected to retain power comfortably. Almost all survey groups, including Matrize–IANS, People’s Pulse, Chanakya Strategies, and P-MARQ, have given NDA a significant edge over the Mahagathbandhan (MGB).
According to projections, NDA’s seat share is expected to range between 132 and 209 seats, while the MGB may secure anywhere between 32 and 108 seats. This consistent trend across multiple surveys indicates that Nitish Kumar is likely to continue as Bihar’s Chief Minister with strong backing from the BJP. The final results, however, will confirm whether these predictions align with the people’s mandate once counting begins.
