Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy once again showcased his distinctive communication style during a meeting attended by Union Minister Manohar Lal. Known for his strategic and subtle approach, Revanth made an interesting and respectful appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the importance of Central support for Telangana’s development. He said that Modi, being a former chief minister himself, understands the pressures and challenges faced by state governments. Calling the Prime Minister a “big brother” to all chief ministers, Revanth urged the Centre to extend greater support to Telangana.
Speaking specifically about the needs of the state, Revanth mentioned the Hyderabad Metro expansion, Musi River beautification, and drinking water infrastructure as projects requiring Central assistance. His remarks drew an immediate positive response from Union Minister Manohar Lal, who assured that the Centre would stand by its commitments regarding the Metro project. He appreciated Revanth for consistently fighting for Telangana’s interests, suggesting that the chief minister’s approach may once again help secure favourable outcomes from the Union government.
