Former Minister and BRS Deputy Floor Leader T. Harish Rao strongly criticised the Telangana Education Commission constituted by the state government. He questioned the formation of a committee without experienced academicians and demanded answers from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Harish Rao stated that drafting a new education policy without members who possess teaching experience at school, college, or university levels is inappropriate.
He further argued that experts in syllabus design, subject specialists, and child psychology professionals should have been included in the commission. Alleging that the government is risking the future of lakhs of students, he urged the administration to withdraw what he termed as flawed decisions and immediately entrust responsibilities to qualified educationists.
