Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Forest Minister Pawan Kalyan has launched an innovative new initiative named “HANUMAN Mission” (Healing And Nurturing Units for Monitoring, Aid & Nursing of Wildlife). The project aims to reduce conflicts between humans and wild animals while promoting wildlife protection through advanced technology. During a detailed review meeting, Pawan Kalyan attentively went through a presentation by forest officials explaining the 11 components of the project. He emphasized the need for a clear, time-bound action plan for effective implementation.
He also directed officials to develop a mobile application that would regularly update the public on the movement of wild animals. The app is expected to be launched by March 3. Pawan Kalyan stressed the importance of coordination between the Forest, Panchayat Raj, Agriculture, and Horticulture departments to ensure the success of the HANUMAN Mission. This initiative is expected to minimize human-wildlife conflicts and preserve natural habitats, contributing significantly to sustainable environmental conservation.
