BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao has strongly reacted to the POCSO case involving Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s son. He questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government, asking whether slogans like “Beti Bachao” are only symbolic. He demanded clarity on what action would be taken against the Union Minister’s family member and expressed deep concern over the alleged harassment of the minor girl and her family.
KTR also raised concerns over delays in justice and police action in the case. He questioned why a minor girl was allegedly treated as an accused and how counter-cases like honey-trap and extortion were registered against her. He also referred to Rahul Gandhi , questioning the stance of the Congress in Telangana. He said the victim had attempted suicide twice and had been fighting for justice for over three months.
He further alleged victimization of the survivor and her family and questioned the handling of the case by authorities. KTR asserted that there would be no compromise on women’s safety and vowed continued struggle for justice if required.
