Visakhapatnam MP Sri Bharat issued a strong warning to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), stating that the government will not tolerate any attempts to obstruct industrial investments and development in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at various development programs in Visakhapatnam on Monday, the MP said, “People have already taught YSRCP a lesson in the elections, but there’s still no change in their attitude. They don’t understand what development means — they’ve mastered the art of destruction.”
He criticized YSRCP for organizing rallies at a time when the Global Investment Summit is about to take place in Visakhapatnam, calling it an effort to divert attention and damage the state’s reputation. “We are trying to bring a better future for our youth, but YSRCP is trying to stop progress for their own political gains,” he said. Highlighting the upcoming Visakhapatnam Summit, Sri Bharat said that over 410 MoUs worth ₹9.8 lakh crore will be signed, bringing large-scale investments to the state. He mentioned that the government has already approved ₹9 lakh crore worth of projects within 17 months and is giving top priority to industrial growth and employment generation.
He warned that any YSRCP leaders involved in illegal activities or indecent comments will face strict legal action. “Law applies equally to everyone. The people of Andhra Pradesh know who truly works for their welfare,” he asserted.
