

During the investor summit in Visakhapatnam, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu stated that Andhra Pradesh is moving towards becoming India’s main gateway. He said the state is being developed as a favorable destination for companies planning to invest. Representatives from 72 countries attended the summit, and the CM highlighted the vast opportunities available in Visakhapatnam. He mentioned that the Central Government has recently declared Vizag as a safe city and assured investors that all permissions will be processed quickly through a strengthened single-window system.
Chandrababu said that by 2047, India aims to become the world’s top economy and Andhra Pradesh is preparing itself to be a major contributor. The CM explained that the state is working with the goal of encouraging entrepreneurs in every household.
He announced major future projects like Space City, Drone City, Electronics City, Quantum Valley and Green Hydrogen Valley. Quantum Valley will begin in Amaravati in January 2026. He further said AP is leading in renewable energy such as solar, wind and pumped storage and that local products like Araku Coffee and Kondapalli toys are gaining international recognition.
Since 2024, the government has introduced 27 policies to support industries. To ensure investor security, escrow accounts will also be provided. The state aims to create 20 lakh jobs in the next three years and bring in trillion-dollar investments over the next decade. Tourism will also play a key role in AP’s development, the CM added.
