Actor turned politician Vijay has decided that his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), will contest the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections independently, without forming alliances with any political bloc. The party leadership has made it clear that TVK will field candidates in all 234 constituencies, signaling a strong intent to establish itself as a major political force in the state.
TVK also turned down an offer reportedly made by the NDA, which included 90 seats and a rotational Chief Minister post for two and a half years. Party General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna emphasized that Vijay would not bow to pressure from Delhi and remains committed to an independent political path focused on the people of Tamil Nadu.
