Vijay Meets PM Modi During First Delhi Visit as Tamil Nadu CM

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay arrived in New Delhi on his first official visit to the national capital after assuming office as Chief Minister. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 4:30 PM to discuss key development and financial issues related to Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister is also expected to meet senior Union Ministers and Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Rahul Gandhi during his visit.

During the meetings, Vijay is likely to submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister seeking support for several pending issues, including the expansion of the Chennai Metro Rail project, pending GST compensation dues, and the release of funds under various Central Government schemes. As part of the visit, he will also inaugurate a statue of renowned Tamil poet-saint Thiruvalluvar at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
