Vajpayee’s Political Life Is an Inspiration: Ramachander Rao

BJP Telangana president N. Ramachander Rao paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the party’s state office in Hyderabad. Remembering Vajpayee’s contribution, he said the former Prime Minister led the country effectively for more than six years. Rao highlighted initiatives such as the expansion of national highways, reforms in the telecom sector and easier access to LPG connections, saying they laid a strong foundation for India’s development. He also described Vajpayee’s political career as an example of putting democratic values above power.

Rao said the Union government honoured Vajpayee with the Bharat Ratna in recognition of his selfless patriotism and lifelong service to the nation. Though Vajpayee is no longer physically present, his ideals and principles continue to remain relevant, he said, urging the younger generation to study his life and follow his values. He also stressed the importance of spiritual guidance for today’s youth and called upon educated professionals and socially responsible citizens to contribute selflessly to society and work for the welfare of humanity.
