A new political development has intensified the power struggle in Tamil Nadu. AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran has reportedly written a letter to the Governor, requesting him to invite Edappadi K. Palaniswami to form the government in the state. The latest move has added further suspense to the ongoing political uncertainty surrounding government formation.
Meanwhile, the VCK party is reportedly demanding the Deputy Chief Minister post as part of alliance discussions. Sources indicate that TVK has offered the Urban Development portfolio to the party in an attempt to secure support. Amid the rapidly changing political scenario, the Governor is expected to provide clarity tomorrow regarding the Chief Minister’s swearing-in ceremony.
