In a strong message to Moscow, U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that he may send long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine if Russia doesn’t move to end the war soon.Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump said he had a “very productive” phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during which he mentioned the possibility of sending Tomahawks.“The Tomahawk is a powerful offensive weapon — and Russia doesn’t need that,” Trump told reporters, hinting at a tougher stance towards Vladimir Putin.
Russia, however, reacted sharply, expressing “extreme concern” over the U.S. possibly supplying these missiles, saying it could further strain ties between Washington and Moscow. This comes as Russia continues to strike Ukraine’s energy grid, while Trump says Ukraine can still win back all its lost territory — marking a dramatic shift from his earlier peace-focused approach.
