The cycle of rejections between the United States and Iran continues over proposals aimed at ending the ongoing conflict. U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected the latest peace proposal sent by Tehran, stating that it is completely unacceptable. Reports suggest the rejection is linked to Iran’s refusal to accept restrictions on its nuclear program.
Speaking at the Oval Office, Trump said the ceasefire agreement is “barely alive” and claimed the U.S. is moving toward complete success. He also stated that Iran’s leaders believe pressure would weaken him, but insisted he is not under any pressure. Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson said their proposal only demanded legitimate rights.
