US President Donald Trump openly condemned the recent US Supreme Court decision, calling it a national embarrassment. He expressed disappointment over the verdict and stated that the justices appeared influenced by foreign factors. Trump further emphasized that he would not back down under any circumstances and, following the ruling, signed orders affecting 10 percent of global tariffs.
Trump specifically criticized six Supreme Court justices who opposed his tariff measures. Among them, four were women: Amy Coney Barrett, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. The remaining two were men: John Roberts and Neil Gorsuch. In contrast, three justices—Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and Samuel Alito—supported Trump’s tariffs.
