After reviewing the report submitted by the Ministers’ Committee, the Chief Minister gave approval for these structural changes.
Additionally, he approved the creation of five new revenue divisions, which include:
Nakkapalli in Anakapalli district
Addanki in Prakasam district
Pileru in the newly proposed Madanapalle district
Banaganapalle in Nandyal district
Madakasira in Sri Sathya Sai district
The government also decided to create a new mandal named Pedda Harivanam in Kurnool district. Likewise, Adoni mandal will be bifurcated to form another new mandal.
