

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has clarified that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or gas in Telangana. He stated that sufficient fuel stocks are available across the state, including Hyderabad. During a review meeting held at the Legislative Council, Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, assessed the fuel supply situation.
He assured that the fuel distribution system is functioning smoothly and urged the public not to panic over misleading reports. Citizens were advised not to purchase or store fuel beyond their regular needs. Officials and agencies were directed to ensure that fuel is available to every customer visiting petrol stations. He also suggested conducting regular press briefings to maintain public confidence.
The Deputy CM warned of strict action against those involved in black marketing of fuel and assured full government support to fuel agencies. The meeting was attended by Civil Supplies Commissioner Stephen Ravindra, GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan, Police Commissioners Sajjanar and Sudheer Babu, along with representatives from IOCL, HPCL, and BPCL.
